Job summary

PTI, headquartered in Hawthorne, New York, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the controls team in designing and delivering advanced inspection technologies for packaging industries. You will guide projects from pneumatic and sensory measurements to complex automation, coordinating with software and mechanical engineers and focusing on measurement accuracy and robust control systems.

10+ years of experience in controls/automation engineering.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lead the controls team on projects from pneumatic and sensory measurement to complex automation.
Collaborate closely with software and mechanical engineering teams.
Develop and validate control logic for PTI's proprietary technologies and ensure accurate measurements.
Lead design and implementation of user interfaces (HMIs) and graphical controls across products.
