Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer based in the United States to lead PLC-based controls projects across multiple manufacturing facilities. You will design, install, commission, and start-up process control and electrical systems, partnering with plant leaders and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-performance operations.

Responsibilities include project scoping, timelines, equipment specs, and cost control, with a focus on safety, reliability, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in engineering, manufacturing, process, controls or projects.
• Strong technical exposure to animal feed, food processing, or related environments.
• Experience leading PLC-based control projects and plant improvements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, budgets, and timelines.
• Knowledge of current grain/food processing systems and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–75% domestically, with some international travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, installation, commissioning, and start-up of process control projects.
• Develop scopes, plans, timelines, and equipment specifications.
• Lead improvements in safety, efficiency, reliability, and quality.
• Provide technical leadership for PLC, automation, and plant processes.
• Manage contractors and coordinate installation and construction activities.
• Work with plant operators to diagnose issues and implement improvements.
• Create and maintain engineering and project documentation.
• Travel to multiple facilities and support project execution.
