Job summary

Dover Food Retail, a segment of Dover Corporation, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer in Conyers, GA to design, program, and document controls for commercial refrigeration systems. You will troubleshoot alarms, integrate customer interfaces, and drive deployment strategies across engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, refrigeration controls experience, and a track record of delivering field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years programming, troubleshooting, and diagnosing electrical and controls systems is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs and tools to meet product and customer needs (Copeland E2/3, Danfoss SM800A, Carel PR300 CPCO).
• Engage with Engineers on deployment strategy to field-ready products.
• Assist in development of tools and features for customer system integration.
• Design troubleshooting trees for refrigeration systems and controls to root causes.
• Design sequencing and test methods to reduce failure causes through elimination.
• Independently develop controls strategies for refrigeration systems.
• Improve testing sequences based on field service data and warranty information.
• Collect and apply customer requirements for controls strategy and integration.
• Recommend alarm thresholds to improve accuracy and usefulness of alarms.
