Pro Electric in Kansas City, MO is seeking a qualified Controls Engineer Service Manager to lead building automation projects from estimation through startup. You will drive coordination with clients, integrators, vendors, and partners to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

The role emphasizes engineering leadership, control drawings and programming support, startup coordination, and a strong safety culture with travel and hands-on oversight of installations.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of related controls/building automation/installation experience
• Moderate travel

Responsibilities

• Estimates and bids: prepares budgets and proposals, defines scope with clients and partners
• Project/installation oversight: supervises installations from planning to completion, coordinates resources
• Client and integrator relationships: builds and maintains relationships with clients, integrators, vendors and project partners
• Controls engineering & technical support: supports design intent, startup coordination, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination
• Resource management: plans workforce, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendor support
• Budgets and financial performance: manages project budgets, monitors costs and risks for profitable delivery
• Safety leadership: promotes a strong safety culture and adherence to policies
