Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems and automation solutions for industrial customers. You will work hands-on across the full project lifecycle, coordinating with internal teams and customers.

You will travel 25-40% to client sites, develop electrical panels and schematics, support commissioning, and collaborate with sales and engineering on technical concepts. Strong PLC and electrical design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in controls and automation.
• Strong PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley required; others a plus.
• Background in controls, electrical design, and system integration.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA, motion control, and fieldbus technologies.
• Exposure to robotics (Fanuc, UR, etc.) and industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL, and related electrical standards.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
• Engineering degree preferred; electrical license a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~25–40%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program PLC-based control systems and supporting software.
• Design electrical panels, schematics, and system layouts.
• Support system integration, startup, and commissioning at customer sites.
• Assist with sales, quoting, and technical concept development.
• Train customers and provide ongoing technical support.
• Manage smaller project scopes and contribute to larger automation initiatives.
