Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Entry Level Controls Engineer to design and develop control systems for manufacturing, enhancing production efficiency and product quality.

You will implement and modify HMI, PLC, and robotic logic, test and maintain systems, and update electrical schematics and operation docs. Collaboration with design and operations teams, pursuit of Lean improvements, and exploring Industry 4.0 trends are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year in a controls engineering role supporting manufacturing.
• Strong ladder logic and Allen Bradley PLC expertise; GuardLogix preferred.
• Experience with robotic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems.
• Familiarity with listed industrial automation tools and software.
• Experience with 480V electrical power.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems and strategies to improve production efficiency and quality.
• Implement and modify HMI, PLC, and robotic logic.
• Test, maintain, and modify existing systems to optimize operations.
• Update and maintain documentation for electrical schematics and instructions.
• Collaborate with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers, and other staff.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.
• Perform maintenance and updates to maximize system reliability and efficiency.
• Explore IoT, Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing for better automation.
