Job summary
Albireo Energy seeks a Senior Controls Design Engineer to lead the design and development of complex HVAC/industrial control systems, focusing on PLC logic and HMI/SCADA architecture. You will work with Rockwell, Emerson, GE, Schneider Electric, and Ignition, delivering high-quality control solutions.
The role involves up-front design, programming, and documentation, with approximately 30% national travel to client sites and regional offices.
Qualifications
- 7+ years PLC/PAC logic design and programming using IEC-61131 languages.
- 7+ years HMI/SCADA design experience with distributed architectures.
- 5+ years electrical design of control panels and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of PLC logic based on narratives and requirements.
- Architect HMI/SCADA graphics, standards, and system layouts.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, panels, and BOMs.
- Prepare design documentation including I/O lists and networks.
- Support commissioning, testing, and design validation.
- Present designs to customers and internal teams.
