Job summary

Indotronix Avani Group is seeking an experienced electrical controls engineer for its Charlotte Headquarters. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience. You will lead the electrical scope on manufacturing improvement projects, focusing on PLC-based automation.

Your primary responsibilities will include design, development, and deployment of integrated controls systems, working closely with various engineering disciplines to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant controls engineering experience.
• Software/Controls programming experience with PLC’s and HMI’s.
• Experience with SCADA systems primarily FT View, Optix, Ignition.
• Understanding of PID control implementation.
• Ability to design and deliver integrated machine control systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an electrical controls resource for manufacturing improvements.
• Lead the electrical and controls scope of assigned projects.
• Design, develop and deploy automation and control systems.
• Lead controls engineering scope from concept through commissioning.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on project integration.
