Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design and advance the automation backbone of PacSci EMC operations. You will lead PLC, robotic control, and HMI systems, ensuring reliable, scalable automation across sites.

The role involves configuring electrical controls, data acquisition, and integration with MES and OEE, while enforcing UL safety standards. Travel up to 50% across Solon OH, Hollister CA, and Chandler AZ is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automation controls engineering incl. PLC, robotics, and electrical systems.
• BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PLC programming and open/industrial languages.

Responsibilities

• Architect, program, and sustain PLC, robotic control, and HMI systems for scalable manufacturing.
• Design and maintain electrical control systems and data acquisition structures.
• Lead site governance, safety standards, and integration with MES/OEE systems.
• Troubleshoot complex electromechanical and PLC-driven systems; mentor technicians.
