Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for a manufacturing facility in St. Clair, MI. The role requires designing, updating, and maintaining PLC/robotics controls, electrical distribution, and safety systems to ensure reliable production.

You will collaborate with OEMs and cross-functional teams to implement upgrades and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of controls experience, familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, and strong Ethernet/Profibus/Devicenet

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer required

Responsibilities

• Design, update, and maintain controls systems including PLC logic and motion controls
• Coordinate with plant and corporate teams to implement upgrades
• Mentor other controls engineers where applicable
• Ensure safety and compliance in equipment integration
