Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field.
• Five years of progressive post-bachelor experience in controls engineering in a processing plant.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Logix programming, plus HMI developments (FactoryTalk ME/View, Aveva InTouch).
• Knowledge of Rockwell automation technologies and control system design/troubleshooting methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Advise on plant equipment and control needs for digital/analog I/O and cabinet/system design.
• Oversee external control vendors and drive project execution to meet timelines and budgets.
• Lead design, coding, testing, and debugging of control programs; modify existing programming as needed.
• Ensure reliability and security of control systems by enforcing standards and overseeing network communications.
• Provide support addressing critical plant control issues and supervise project installations and commissioning.
• Collect data to determine operating efficiencies and optimize control performances.
