Job summary

Actus Nutrition (Milk Specialties Company) seeks a Sr Controls Engineer for its Eden Prairie, MN facility. You will design and select plant control solutions for digital/analog I/O, cabinets, and systems, and will coordinate with external vendors to ensure robust automation.

Required: BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and 5+ years in processing-plant controls, with hands-on Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell tech, and HMIs (FactoryTalk ME/View, Aveva InTouch). Travel up to 50% is possible.

Qualifications

BS or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive post-bachelor's experience in controls engineering in a processing plant.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Logix programming.
Experience with HMI: FactoryTalk ME, FactoryTalk View, Aveva InTouch.
Familiar with Rockwell and related automation technologies.
Travel up to 50% (2–3 days per visit to multiple sites).

Responsibilities

Advise on, recommend, and engage in selection of plant equipment and related control needs for digital and analog I/O, cabinet and system design.
Oversee external control vendors.
