Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in industrial controls, automation, or machine control engineering.
• Experience with PLC programming on Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron.
• Experience with control systems design, HMI development, and closed-loop control systems.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, industrial networking, and controls integration in manufacturing settings.
• Must be available for significant travel, primarily domestic, to support project activities.

Responsibilities

• Support controls engineering projects through design, build, installation, startup, and commissioning phases.
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs for manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Contribute to control architectures, specifications, and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, plant personnel, and system integrators to deliver solutions.
• Review electrical schematics, panel layouts, and documentation; update during projects.
• Assist with offline testing, installation, and production startup support.
• Troubleshoot controls and automation issues related to programming and system performance.
• Support industrial networking for machine and system integration.
• Document engineering work and project updates for handoff.
