Job summary

You will design, test, and start up systems using PLCs, VSDs, and SCADA, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial automation, strong problem-solving skills, and a track record with AC/DC drives, control panels, and system integration in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years with AC/DC motors and drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Industrial automation experience and SCADA know-how.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation and control systems for metals industry apps.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to complete projects.
• Manage project budget and schedule requirements.
• Develop and maintain standards and best practices.
• Create system and communication architecture for industrial projects.
• Specify and configure hardware like drives, switchgear, control panels.
• Perform functional testing of electrical and control systems.
• Provide mentoring to junior engineers.
• Produce requirements documentation and test procedures.
• Support sales with technical solutions.
