Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to oversee the development, execution and delivery of control system projects for the Generac Advanced Manufacturing MOM Team. Responsibilities include PLC/SCADA programming, simulation, testing and start-up commissioning.

You will mentor associates, provide technical assistance and drive process improvements across the project lifecycle, from planning through commissioning, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 5+ years programming industrial controls, PLCs, HMIs.
• Experience with MES and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop MES machine integration plans and schedules.
• Lead PLC/SCADA programming, testing and commissioning.
• Mentor project team and ensure on-time delivery.
• Translate requirements into system design specs.
