First Quality is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for Nutek Disposables in McElhattan, PA. You will design, implement, and upgrade complex controls systems on production equipment, mentoring technicians and collaborating with engineers to improve plant performance.

The role requires 8+ years in industrial controls, strong PLC/HMI skills (Rockwell/Siemens), AutoCAD, and knowledge of safety standards. Leadership on small capital projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 8+ years' experience with Industrial Controls Systems.
• Experience with PLC hardware/software (Rockwell and Siemens).
• Servo control, HMI, and motor drives knowledge.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Safety/FMS training incl. ISO 62443 or functional machine safety.

Responsabilités

• Design, install, commission, and start up new equipment and process controls with cross-functional teams.
• Specify and design DCS/PLC/HMI, servo systems, motors, drives, sensors, and data collection per standards.
• Modify PLC/DCS/HMI logic and servo control for performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or process problems and mentor others.
• Collaborate with MES team to develop machine data collection.
• Lead small capital projects and stay current on controls tech and safety standards.
• Provide training to Controls team and operations; communicate changes clearly.
