Job summary

The Coca-Cola Bottlers (CONA Services) seeks a skilled Controls Engineer to guide strategic controls implementations across manufacturing and warehousing. You will establish standardized practices, lead project teams, and ensure high performance of PLC-driven systems at multiple sites.

Responsibilities include developing control strategies, mentoring engineering staff, and collaborating with senior leadership to improve line efficiency and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Associate degree or 2–4 years related work experience.
• Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops high-level control strategies for all automated equipment in warehouse and manufacturing facilities.
• Develops a control strategy for automated production facility machinery including PLC-driven equipment.
• Oversees design, development, and validation of control systems for new equipment and systems.
• Provides guidance to Director of Engineering and Plant Managers on controls practices and standards.
• Establishes standardized controls philosophy and coding rules for manufacturing cells and documents practices.
• Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs control systems and trains plant Maintenance Managers.
• Supervises and mentors plant-level control engineers and stays current with new technology.
• Travel 50% - 70% of the time.
