You will lead a team of plant controls engineers, develop high-level strategies for PLC-driven equipment, and mentor maintenance staff while staying current with new technologies. Travel 50-70% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2-4 years related experience.
• Driver's license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls preferred.
• AB or Rockwell Automation training/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops high-level control strategies for all automated equipment in warehouse and manufacturing facilities.
• Develops control strategy for PLC-driven machinery and equipment.
• Oversees design and development of control systems for new equipment.
• Provides guidance to Director of Engineering, Senior Director of Manufacturing, Plant Managers, and Vertique Systems Managers.
• Establishes coding rules and controls procedures for standardization across locations.
