Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC in Spokane, WA seeks a senior Control Systems Engineer IV to design and oversee electrical control systems for OEM machinery. You will develop PLC/HMI solutions, implement Rockwell and Siemens platforms, and lead system validation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience within an OEM manufacturing environment.
• PLC and HMI platforms – Siemens preferred; Rockwell experience considered.
• Knowledge of VFDs and motion control; familiarity with robot controllers is a plus.
• In-depth controls engineering with broad knowledge of mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electrical engineering and control system architecture and specifications.
• Lead hardware/software development for new/existing machines and configurations.
• Create machine development plans, risk assessments, and test plans.
• Develop PLC and HMI code, install and verify at the production facility.
• Collaborate with production, service, and suppliers to ensure proper startup.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and training.
