Job summary

Timken seeks a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing at the Keene, NH facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting processes, maintaining production assets, and driving automation improvements within precision bearings manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or related science.
• 5 years industrial manufacturing experience.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot safety rated control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve process and machine problems to improve manufacturing efficiencies and uptime.
• Support manufacturing of engineered precision miniature bearings including machining, grinding and honing finishing operations, assembly and inspection.
• Work with maintenance personnel to support plant systems (production assets, power, utilities, etc.).
• Introduce new technology and automation into the manufacturing process.
• Define functional requirements for new equipment and identify upgrade needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing processes and designs.
• Develop specifications for equipment modifications and coordinate project funding and procurement.
