Job summary

Camaco LLC seeks a detail-oriented Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain control systems for automated machinery, robotics, and production cells. You will specify hardware and software, create system architectures, and optimize performance while upholding safety standards.

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams, liaison with vendors and clients, and generate documentation. Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and Ethernet/IP is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
• Expertise with Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC 500, CompactLogix, MicroLogix), SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, sensors, actuators, and control principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of control systems.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate controls into projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements for performance and cost efficiency.
