Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or AS + relevant experience.
• 8+ years as controls engineer or related role.
• PLCs (Allen Bradley, OMRON) and robotics experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; project history.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for electrical systems including components and install labor.
• Design electrical hardware circuits and safety controls for automated systems.
• Create electrical drawings and schematics.
• Lead design review meetings with production, maintenance, and quality.
• Program machine software (PLC, robot, vision, HMI).
• Debug programming during build and early operation.
• Research and implement emerging technologies.
• Provide ongoing technical support to in-house technicians.
• Assist with machine spec development for outsourcing.
• Prepare training materials and technical reports.
