Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial controls and automation engineering.
• Experience designing and implementing PLC-based machine or process automation systems.
• Experience with Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLC programming; familiarity with Siemens and Omron.
• Experience with HMI and SCADA systems such as FactoryTalk View, Optix, Ignition, or iFix.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls engineering scope for automation and capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Design, develop, and deploy integrated automation and machine control systems using PLC, HMI, SCADA, and related technologies.
• Define control architectures and integration requirements to support manufacturing objectives.
• Provide technical direction to contractors, system integrators, and internal teams.
• Review and approve controls deliverables such as schematics, panel layouts, PLC/HMI programs, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex controls, networking, and integration issues during project execution and startup.
• Apply knowledge of process/motion control and industrial networking to improve performance.
