Dematic is hiring a Solution Design Controls Engineer to join our Customer Service Solution Development team in Grand Rapids, MI. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 8 years of controls engineering and material handling experience.
• Experience designing and commissioning automated material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for complex controls projects for customers.
• Read schematics and PLC programs and follow up on technical details.
• Provide solutions for productivity improvements and cost reductions.
• Travel up to 20% to customer and Dematic locations in the U.S.
