Job summary

Jobot in Ohio is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to lead controls and automation projects across our manufacturing facilities. You will install new systems and upgrade existing ones to boost productivity and reliability.

The role requires hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA work, Allen-Bradley experience, and strong wiring and control system design skills. Expect competitive compensation, bonus potential, profit sharing, and generous vacation along with tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI development, Wonderware (Aveva) ArchestrA.
• Experience with .NET programming, SQL Databases, and Ethernet/IP Communication.
• Open to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
• Programming and integrating PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated equipment.
• Provide Controls and Automation Systems technical support to other company locations.
• Design and selection of plant control system architecture (control panels, hardware, communication protocols, etc.).
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
