Job summary
Kohler is seeking a Senior Controls & Automation Engineer to support, maintain, and improve automated manufacturing systems in our Casa Grande, AZ facility. You will focus on reliability of controls, robotics, and new technologies, collaborating with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
The role requires hands-on engineering with Rockwell Logix5000 platforms, FANUC robotics, and Ignition HMI/SCADA, driving continuous improvement and safety initiatives in a high-volume environment.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited engineering degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, manufacturing, or related role.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation Logix5000 platforms.
- Experience supporting industrial robotics, preferably FANUC systems.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and support; Ignition experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support daily manufacturing operations and resolve controls, robotics, and automation issues.
- Lead troubleshooting for PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems, industrial networks, and automated equipment.
- Develop and improve Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix control systems.
