Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Controls & Automation Engineer in Montgomery, AL to lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of industrial automation systems. This role covers PLC/HMI programming, robotics, vision systems, commissioning, validation, and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Direct Hire, second shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM), with relocation assistance. Salary up to $110,000 annually plus OT eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 5+ years designing and maintaining PLC/HMI/automation systems.
• Experience with implementation, commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, and optimize automation and control systems.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems.
• Lead equipment upgrades and automation improvement initiatives.
