Job summary

Deloitte's GPS practice seeks professionals to support government clients in finance transformation, focusing on controllership and treasury modernization. You will work with CFOs and controllers to enhance data-driven, tech-enabled finance functions and deliver value across strategy, operations, and technology modernization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in asset accounting for federal clients, 2+ years in audit remediation, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of asset accounting and finance experience in support of federal clients.
• 2+ years of audit remediation or financial improvement support.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Willingness to co-locate in person 5 days per week in Prince George County, MD.
• Travel about 5-25% depending on client work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support GPP&E and Inventory valuation packages.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliations across financial and logistics systems; research variances.
• Design and execute risk assessments to identify process gaps and controls.
• Perform substantive testing per the Financial Audit Manual (FAM).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain documentation and investigate discrepancies.
