Job summary

Wow Bao, based in Chicago, IL, seeks a Senior Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, cash management, internal controls, and compliance for a fast-growing CPG and food manufacturing business. You will partner with operations on inventory, cost accounting, and trade spend while supporting forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting across channels.

This on-site role reports to the CEO, with responsibilities spanning close processes, audit coordination, and finance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required or CPA eligible.
• 5–7 years progressive accounting/finance experience, with 2–3 years as a Controller.
• CPG/food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle and monthly close with accurate financial statements.
• Lead external audit coordination and tax filings with advisors.
• Oversee cash management, forecasting, and working capital dynamics.
• Partner with operations on inventory, cost accounting, and margin analysis.
• Mentor accounting team and drive process improvements.
