Job summary

Viking Industrial Painting in Omaha, Nebraska seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting across multiple entities and states, ensuring GAAP compliance, accurate monthly close, and robust internal controls that safeguard assets. You will optimize processes and develop scalable systems to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting/financial management experience, construction sector preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity/multi-state operations and senior leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and close processes.
• Develop budgets/forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial models for planning.
• Provide analysis to executives on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Oversee project accounting, job costing, and profitability analysis.
