Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function in Granger, IN. This onsite role requires a hands-on leader who partners with executive leadership to improve processes and drive financial performance.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and the accounting team, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 7+ years of progressive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Manage the accounting team, including AP, AR, payroll, and daily accounting operations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls; coordinate annual audits.
• Partner with leadership to improve processes and support strategic business decisions.
