Thomas, Edwards Group is seeking a Corporate Controller in Irving, TX to lead the accounting organization. You will oversee the general ledger, close processes, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, while strengthening internal controls and compliance.

JD Edwards experience is essential for maintaining data integrity across multi-site manufacturing operations. The role requires 8–12+ years of progressive accounting leadership, a CPA, and strong analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership/management.
• Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
• Experience with multi-site manufacturing operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience with ERP implementations or upgrades.
• Experience in private equity backed company reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll and tax.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team, including hiring and performance management.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the JD Edwards ERP system.
• Partner with CFO and executives to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
