Job summary

Monmouth Trading Cards is looking for a Controller in New Jersey to oversee the entire accounting and finance functions. As the senior finance hire, you will manage reporting, cash management, and accounting processes directly with the CEO.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in retail or e-commerce with strong inventory practices and NetSuite proficiency. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 plus benefits and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory-heavy retail or e-commerce.
• Experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
• Familiarity with multi-state sales tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting.
• Manage inventory accounting and valuation.
• Oversee cash management and treasury functions.
• Conduct gross margin analysis across channels.
• Handle multi-entity accounting and consolidation.
