Paul Davis Restoration of South Atlanta is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations from the South Atlanta office. This role is a hands-on leadership position within the Leadership Team, focusing on accurate financial information and strategic insight to drive growth.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting expertise in construction/restoration or project-based environments and will oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience leading an accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Manage and support the accounting team while promoting accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and other accounting functions.
• Manage job cost accounting and WIP reporting.
• Partner with department leaders to review financial performance and support decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
