Job summary

Kastle Systems is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead accounting managers, manage GAAP compliance, and oversee monthly close processes across global operations. The role collaborates with Operations, HR, Sales, and IT to align financial controls with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field (Advanced studies preferred).
• CPA designation preferred.
• 2-3 years of public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple accounting managers and their teams.
• Generate monthly internal operational reports and financial statements; respond to inquiries from operational teams and leadership.
• Support completion of annual external audited financial statements: organize the Accounting team to pull required sample selection support, update memos, assist with tie-out and auditor comments.
• Record confidential payroll and compensation-related entries and provide audit support.
• Calculate and eliminate internal revenue and costs between Kastle divisions.
• Translate monthly financial results of the Australian subsidiary into USD.
• Record the monthly commission entry based on data from the Varicent system.
