Job summary

LeoForce in Roswell, GA is seeking a Permanent Controller with extensive accounting leadership experience to oversee all accounting operations, budgets, and financial reporting. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance and infrastructure development to support company growth.

You will coordinate monthly close, forecast, and tax filings, work with management on cost controls and policies, and ensure accurate statements. Hybrid work schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting leadership roles.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures with experience in creating financial statements.
• Excellent understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, forecasting and budgeting.
• Strong skills in variance analysis and logistics management.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances once finalized.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements ensuring quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Conduct timely reviews of financial reports ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with management to develop plans for infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel to support growth objectives.
