Maximus Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations and support the financial health of a growing business. This role will oversee financial reporting, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensure compliance and internal controls, manage audits, and lead the accounting team while partnering with executive management to drive operational and financial excellence.

Required: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, CPA, 10+ years of progressive accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• ERP system experience; NetSuite is a plus

Responsabilités

• Lead financial reporting and accounting operations
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage audits, internal controls, and risk mitigation efforts
• Develop and mentor accounting team members
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and strategic guidance
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
