Job summary

Metzler Forest Products, LLC is seeking a hands-on Controller to manage accounting, finance, and cash management. You will lead a team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP.

You will partner with ownership to provide actionable analyses, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and drive process improvements across divisions and departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or CMA designations preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible private company accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s accounting function and internal controls.
• Develop financial tools, models, and projections.
• Issue timely financial statements and communicate results.
• Assist budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external accountants.
• Manage cash flow, debt, and vendor/payable processes.
