Job summary

Magee Holdings, LLC seeks an experienced Controller to lead our accounting team and steer financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, and analysis. The role requires strong communication with leadership and a proactive approach to financial management.

The Controller will oversee financial statements for all entities, monitor cash flow, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the CPA. This position offers growth within a stable, long‑standing consumer lending and real estate organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in a senior-level accounting role.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance reporting.
• Experience managing payroll.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the accounting team with an environment of trust, accuracy, and productivity.
• Provide comprehensive financial statements and updates for all business entities.
• Evaluate, analyze, and report trends with possible opportunities.
• Implement accounting policies and adhere to national and local standards while remaining knowledgeable on proposed legislation.
• Monitor the company’s cash flow.
• Maintain a working relationship with the outside CPA and provide precise documentation for review and tax preparations.
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
• Process payroll in a timely manner.
• Ensure timely invoice payments.
• Review and/or perform periodic bank reconciliations.
• Willingness to perform a variety of other functions that may be needed.
