Job summary

G.E. Mechanical, LLC is seeking aController to lead the Finance Department and ensure accuracy of financial records. You will drive monthly closes, manage billing, cash flow, and intercompany activity, while partnering with the Director of Finance.

The role requires 5+ years in construction accounting or similar and a BS in accounting/finance, with preference for ERP experience and MS Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations, workflow, and personnel of the Finance Department.
• Own and execute a 5-business day monthly close including general ledger and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition for projects and service agreements.
• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and cash forecasting with the Director of Finance.
