Job summary

Bober Markey Fedorovich is seeking a Controller to lead engagements and act as the client’s trusted advisor. You will review financial statements, manage staff, and ensure timely delivery across industries.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, CPA or CMA credentials, and experience with QuickBooks and multiple accounting systems. Hybrid work options and competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Strong understanding of GAAP financial statements.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Excellent command of Excel and Word.
• Experience with multiple accounting software packages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains client relationships as the primary contact for engagements.
• Develops relationships with client senior management.
• Prepares and reviews complex financial statements for diverse industries.
• Performs technical accounting research and documents conclusions.
• Resolves accounting issues with staff and clients.
• Ensures onboarding plans and training are executed.
• Leads resource scheduling and project planning across engagements.
• Participates in new business development and pricing discussions.
