Job summary

Sun West Direct in Cerritos, CA is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the accuracy of all financial functions, including cost accounting, cycle management, reporting, risk analysis, and internal controls. You will manage a mid-size accounting team and coordinate audits, budgets, P&L and balance sheet activities, cash management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all financial activities.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
• Produce statutory and internal financial reports.
• Establish and maintain accounting processes and ledgers.
• Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet; manage cash and treasury.
• Support audit schedules and assist with audits.
• Maintain internal controls and risk management practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
