BH Properties is seeking a Senior Controller in Los Angeles to lead the accounting team, supervise AP/AR/GL managers, and own the monthly close and financial statements. The role also handles CAM reconciliation, audit coordination, policy maintenance, and Yardi administration to support a growing real estate portfolio.

• CPA license is required and public accounting experience is a plus.
• At least 10 years of accounting experience.
• At least 5 years of broad-based accounting for real estate.
• At least 5 years of active supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook; Yardi experience preferred.

POSITION

TheSenior Controllerwill report to the Senior Managing Director.

LOCATION

Los Angeles, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES

Including, but are not limited to:

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA license
• Public accounting experience a plus
• At least 10 years of accounting experience required
• At least 5 years of broad-based accounting for real estate experience
• At least 5 years of active supervisory experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess strong work ethic
• Must be a team player
• Yardi experience preferred

COMPENSATION

$170K-$220K base
