Job summary

Bechtel seeks a highly experienced control valve engineer to specify and size valves for major power and industrial projects. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure correct valve selection, review vendor data, and guide procurement through factory visits and field installations.

You will apply knowledge of API/ASME/ISA standards, participate in resolving field issues, and contribute to maintaining Bechtel valve specifications and sizing guides on complex combined cycle projects.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites for inspections and issue resolution.
• Ability to work in a diverse, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and specify control valves for Bechtel projects to fit applications.
• Review specifications, data sheets, and vendor submittals for compliance.
• Support procurement through delivery, factory visits, and field installation resolution.
• Maintain corporate valve sizing and specification guides.
