Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Control System Principal Engineer to provide high-level engineering leadership onsite at the Fluor Corporation project site in Greenville, SC and Houston, TX. The role demands prevention, analysis, and coordination of advanced control system activities across disciplines.

The candidate will manage complex project deliverables, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with project quality plans and schedules.

Qualifications

• Significant experience providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services on large industrial projects.
• Proficiency executing large EPC projects utilizing engineering analysis, 3D modeling and 2D CADD tools.
• Knowledge of control systems architecture and development, including PLC, DCS, SIS, and HMI.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory guidance to engineers and designers under general supervision.
• Analyze and recommend technical solutions to complex problems per project requirements.
• Develop and review specifications and design criteria for controls systems.
