Shell is seeking a Senior Control System Engineer in the United States to support the Production Team with process automation, control, and optimization across PACO systems. You will act as the focal point for instrumentation, control systems, and SIS, driving safety and efficiency improvements.

The role requires hands-on experience with DCS such as Yokogawa Centum VP or Emerson DeltaV, and a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing operations.

Formación

Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
Bachelor in Chemical, Electrical or related engineering.
Minimum 3 years direct support experience in manufacturing operations.
Hands-on experience with DCS systems, preferably Yokogawa Centum VP or Emerson DeltaV.

Responsabilidades

Serve as focal point for Instrumentation, Control Systems and SIS issues.
Identify and implement base layer and complex controls for safety, reliability, profitability and environmental improvements.
Proactively monitor base layer and complex controls for continuous improvements.
Support turnarounds with engineering and technical assurance.
Lead troubleshooting of complex process and control issues.
Interface with capital projects for process control scope development.
