Stanley Consultants seeks a Principal Control Systems Engineer to lead control system design across power, municipal water, and industrial facilities. You will guide DCS/PLC implementation, develop system architectures, and prepare comprehensive technical documents for major projects.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client liaison, and adherence to QA and regulatory standards, with a focus on delivering reliable, efficient control solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) required.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
Minimum of 12 years in control systems engineering.
Experience with DCS/PLC design, implementation, commissioning.

Responsibilities

Interpret, organize and coordinate complex control systems assignments.
Lead design of plant control and instrumentation across diverse applications.
Develop concepts for control system architectures and improve efficiency.
Prepare technical documents: reports, specs, drawings, P&IDs and data sheets.
Seal control system plans per standards and QA requirements.
Support client communications and project management.
