Honeywell is seeking a Control System Specialist to configure and maintain Honeywell Experion and TDC-3000 platforms in industrial settings, with emphasis on safety and control system design. The role requires engineering credentials and extensive experience in automated process environments.

The position is on-site in Texas with benefits, involving project planning, risk assessment, and coordination with project managers and EPC teams.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on configuration with Honeywell Experion and TDC-3000.
  • Experience with SIS/DCS/PLC/HMI systems.
  • BS in Engineering required; PE license preferred.
  • 8+ years in control system engineering.
  • Experience in FEL/FEED and EPC projects in chemical/petrochemical industries.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain Honeywell Experion and TDC-3000 platforms in industrial environments.
  • Design, specify, select, and services relating to control systems including basic process control, safety systems, communications, etc.
  • Plan, budget, organize and control an important segment of a typical automation project.
  • Assist with control philosophy and/or functional descriptions.
  • Communicate progress to project manager for inclusion into reports to client.
  • Ensure quality of the control system portion of the project.
