Overview

Join a systems integration team delivering automation projects for automotive, food & beverage, and pharma plants across the Midwest. You will own projects from concept to commissioning — designing, programming, and integrating advanced control and vision systems.

Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

What you will do

• Program PLCs: Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000) and Siemens (TIA Portal, S7)
• Develop HMI logic in Rockwell and Siemens platforms
• Define control architectures: I/O lists, BOMs, network layouts
• Oversee panel builds, inspections, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and optimize systems already in production
• Estimate and quote electrical/controls scope for new bids

What you bring

• Hands-on programming with Fanuc, Yaskawa, or ABB robots
• Machine control project experience from scratch-build to production handover
• Experience programming PLCs with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000) and Siemens (TIA Portal, S7)
• Experience with VFDs (PowerFlex, SINAMICS, ABB) and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DeviceNet)
• Ability to talk tech with customers and manage timelines without babysitting
• Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time for commissioning and site support
• Deliver automation projects using Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, Cognex and other industry-standard platforms
• Work with engineers who share code, ideas, and site support
• Learn new platforms and lead larger projects over time with paid training and mentoring
