Job summary

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all required Control Room Operator training.
• Ability in basic math, electricity, chemistry and power plant physical sciences; print reading; communication skills.
• Ability to perform technical troubleshooting and document conditions in the Maintenance Management System.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and operates all major and auxiliary equipment and systems in a combined cycle plant.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complies with safety, NERC, and environmental regulations.
• Observes and interprets indications from instrumentation and control systems during rounds.
• Performs functional testing and adjustments on power plant systems and components.
